Hi! I’m Russ R. Robinson, or “R3.”
I am a self-taught impressionist with a unique pointillism specialty. I am based in San Bruno, CA (ten miles south of San Francisco.)
I call my work “Coloring” because after 20 years of not lifting a pencil or brush, I rekindled my passion for creating through coloring books for mindfulness. My goal is to add some more color to the world…one dot at a time.
My style focuses on simple compositions created with messy, yet fluid strokes - it’s “orderly chaos.”
My collections celebrate the impermanence of nature - attempting to playfully capture its color, energy, and movement.
