My name is Russ R. Robinson.
I am a self-taught, contemporary fine Artist with an impressionistic pointillism specialty. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I call my work “Colorings” because after 20 years of not lifting a brush, I rekindled my passion for creating through coloring books for mindfulness.
I build simple compositions with thousands of dots. It’s a messy style that aims to look clean. I call it “orderly chaos.”
My collections celebrate the impermanence of nature - playfully capturing its fluid colors, movements, and vibrant energy.
In addition to running my art business, I teach children at Happy Picasso Studios and host paint parties in the SF Bay Area. Learn more about R3 Paint Parties
